Nike Sportswear is in talks with Apple about the company’s $200 price tag for its Essential line of shoes
Nike is in discussions with Apple to supply the Apple Watch, according to a report from the Wall Street Journal.
The Wall Street report claims that the two companies are discussing a deal that could see Nike supplying the Apple Watches first pair of Sportswears and Apple supplying the second pair of Nike Sport Swooshes.
According to the report, Nike is offering $200 for each pair of Essential, Essential+ and Nike+ Essential products.
The Essential+ line is a combination of Nike’s original and current Essential line.
The Nike+ line has the same core and leather-clad design but is made of premium materials.
Nike has a long history of making shoes for Apple, with the company producing the iconic Air Max, Air Jordan and Air Force.
It also produces shoes for the iPhone and iPad.
