The Nike Sportswear Rally, a $150 Nike sneakers-only event, takes place on May 14-15 at the New York Stock Exchange.
The event is being held to commemorate Nike’s 30th anniversary, and the rally is also being promoted as a “first in the United States.”
It features celebrity appearances, music and performances by musicians, comedians and actors.
But, as you might imagine, Nike doesn’t just offer a bunch of cheap sneakers for $150 apiece.
Nike also sells sneakers at $199 to $299.
Nike says it’s the best-selling shoe brand in the world, according to the company’s online store.
Nike says it plans to sell more than 10,000 pairs of the rally sneakers.
Nikes sneakers in the rally will include the Nike Air Max, Nike Air Boost, Nike Zoom, Nike LeBron 9, Nike Kobe 9, and Nike LeBron 12.
They’ll also include the brand’s signature Boost cushioning.
