Auburn’s upcoming uniforms are an exciting look for the Tigers, but not everyone will be a fan of the new look.
Auburn coach Gus Malzahn is already taking his inspiration from some of the world’s most famous sporting brands, including Nike, Adidas, and Adidas Originals, and his players are hoping they have the support of Auburn fans, too.
Malzahn told the media Wednesday he and Auburn players were looking forward to a new look for their uniforms, which are set to be unveiled on March 4.
“I’ve always been a fan,” Malzhan said.
Players have been working with Malzahns team to create a uniform inspired by the world of sports. “
It’s something that’s really important to me and it’s something I’m really excited about.”
Players have been working with Malzahns team to create a uniform inspired by the world of sports.
They were able to pull together designs based on all the athletes from the past 20 years of Auburn football, Malzahan said.
The new uniforms will have a number of elements from the Auburn logo to the team name, Malzonans players have said.
Malzani said that while he was proud of the Auburn team name and uniforms, the players were just trying to make sure that the colors matched the uniforms.
“It’s not like we’re trying to get into the realm of ‘The Red Stripes’ or ‘The Beatles,’ it’s just just a bunch of cool colors,” Malzonani said.
Malzonani and the players are working to create something that fits Auburn’s football tradition.
“Aubrey’s a very unique person and his football career is really unique,” Malzelani said, according to The Birmingham News.
“We are a brand that really represents Auburn and it was very important to us that we really make sure our uniforms matched the tradition.”
“We’ve always thought about the fans and they have been supportive of us,” Malza said.
